The stages of the purchase process are as follows:

1 – Once a sale and purchase has been agreed, along with a quote from us, the process starts. The fee earner is given full details, so paperwork can be sent to be filled out by the relevant parties.
2 – (Sale) – A copy of draft papers and the titles are sent to the buyer’s solicitors to look at and approve. We will also handle any subsequent queries.
2- (Purchase) – Once we receive your cheque for searches and draft papers from the seller’s solicitors, these are checked and we will discuss any issues with you.
3 – Once all paperwork has been agreed and queries responded to satisfactorily and a mortgage is in place, along with deposit monies, a completion date can be agreed and then an exchange date set.
4 – In the event of a purchase, contracts will be exchanged and we will request full mortgage funds and the balance of purchase monies. On completion plans can be made to drop off or pick up the keys.
6 – Finally, the post-completion formalities can be done, such as registering the property in your name.
